The International Teacher's Association is a Christian education mission committed to equipping tomorrow's leaders with the truth of God's Word thereby helping to fulfill the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20) This is accomplished through: Training, Networking, and Linking Bible teachers.

HISTORY

ITA was birthed out of two years of Prayer - seeking how to help fulfill Christ's Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20. The emphasis was worldwide evangelism through Bible teaching. At this time, also praying through OPeration World (a daily prayer guide for all the people of the world) it became clear there was a nedd for Bible Teachers aroung the world to fulfill their calling to teach God's word with integrity, historical accuracy and passion. This high calling is not just directed to this generation but also for this generation to plant the seeds and instill this responsibility to future genetations. ITA was birthed February 24, 1994.

The mission of ITA is accomplished through three primary objectives: Training, Networking and Linking Bible Teachers.

Training


To equip teachers to teach the Bible in a manner that will allow each student to discover the Biblical history, discover the parallel principle and to commit to make a personal application as directed by the Holy Spirit.


Networking


To provide Bible teachers, school administrators, and mission agencies opportunities to share information and insights as well as to encourage one another.


Linking


To connect teachers with public and private school systems in which the teacher could be placed either in short or long-term opportunities. These teachers will teach Bible classes or exert a Christian influence while teaching other subjects.
